Philips Sonicare Flexcare PlusPhilips Sonicare FlexCare Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush with Sanitizer

I’ve been using Philips Sonicare Flexcare Plus and buy Philips Sonicare FlexCare Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush with Sanitizer to use a sanitizer to the head. Which can be cleaned with 99% of bacteria and viruses. Have been working to clean up 3 mode is not the only outstanding design. The grip fits the hand, and the plot is not too big as its predecessor. But there are problems with noise at work. It’s not a huge problem. Shake the grip a little and not feel like it is now working very well. Read more…

This is an investment for your health. I just bought Philips Sonicare FlexCare Plus HX6972 was not long, but I was very impressed. With the Philips Sonicare Flexcare Plus brand wrap this head is designed to convert a small cleaning every corner of the mouth. Which I like very much. There is also a mode of operation to 5 in cleaning mode. Purchased from Philips Sonicare Flexcare Plus this new version. The older people like me spend time with the cleaning is not boring. Easy to carry as well. Caters for it. Read more…

I really wanted to give this toothbrush 5 stars, but I just couldn’t. It’s not a bad device by any means but it’s partly a step backwards from the Flexcare+ model and is it really worth the price?

Let me start off by saying this is the 4th Sonicare Toothbrush I’ve owned. I had the Essence, than the Flexcare, than the Flexcare+ and now the DiamondClean.

If you have the Flexcare or the Flexcare+ do you really need to upgrade to this model? Probably not, Sonicare’s own website states you get a 44% better clean using the new DiamondClean heads, so the handle obviously makes no difference.

Don’t get me wrong the new handle is very cool, slick design, even slicker charging options, but did Sonicare have to remove features to do this? For instance:

The battery icon is now 1 solid icon rather than 3 different slices, now you can’t tell when the battery is getting low.

The button to change modes was removed, now there is one button for power and mode changing, this means unless you want to splatter toothpaste all over your mirror you need to change the mode in your mouth while trying to squint at the brush to see what mode it’s on.

Why was the UV cleaner removed? Ok, I really didn’t use this often but it was cool to know I had it.

This toothbrush is very expensive, and your basically paying for the cool charging technology, and the absurdly overpriced new brush heads. Currently a pack of 3 runs almost $35. In contrast a pack of 7 ProResults can be had at a big name Warehouse store for around $40.

Also while putting your toothbrush in the cup for charging is cool, is that really practical? If anything it’s going to start making the bottom of the handle sort of gross, how many germs collect in that cup overnight unless you clean it every day.

So in conclusion, cool charging technology does not take the place of convenience features.

I have used Sonicare toothbrushes (always the top of the line) for about 8-10 years. I think (and my periodontist agrees) they do a good job. My only complaint is that the battery always dies leaving me with unused brush heads! Invariably they are an obsolete design and cannot be used with the new models available!

I ordered this Model (HX6942/20)Philips Sonicare HX6942/20 FlexCare+ Sonic Toothbrush with UV Sanitizer based on 2 things: 1) Price and 2) Philips Sonicare Customer Service assurances. I was perplexed about the difference in model numbers between this and the others on Amazon (HX6972/10)Philips Sonicare FlexCare Plus HX6972/10, Rechargeable Toothbrush so I called Sonicare. They confirmed the Model number 6972/10 as a FlexCare+ but could not confirm the Model number 6942/20. They said it might be a misprint and if it was a Flexcare+, all Flexcare+ models are the same. I ordered despite the discrepancy since I trust Amazon to resolve issues. I received it today as promised and, upon opening the shipping box, found the words “Dental Professional Trial NOT FOR RESALE” emblazoned in red on the manufacturer’s packaging. I immediately called Sonicare Customer Service, explained the events and inquired if the warranty, etc. would be valid. I read them the model and serial number from the bottom of the handle and was told that the warranty would indeed be good, that it was as represented (a Flexcare+) and that it had been recently manufactured, based on the serial number. So, the price was comparitively good and the item was what I wanted but it apparently should not have been resold (although Sonicare seemed not to be bothered).

I will update the performance of this product after some reasonable period of use.

The Tooth brush is the best powered toothbrush. I upgraded from the E series from a couple of years ago after the battery went. The sleek design makes brushing even more pleasurable. The battery lasts about three weeks which is great.

The brush comes with two brushes. A tiny one that is child sized and an adult sized brush. The brushes snap on very easily and come off with the same ease. The brush replacement indicator on the bristles seems to be giving me notice a bit fast, but it is not a big deal.

There are two chargers shipped with the brush. The travel and the one with the UV. The travel is simple small and sleek. It is a tiny stand with a pin that the brush rests on. The UV one is good too. The sanitized works as promised. The only gripe I have is the cord wrap at the base does not work as well as it should. There is a bit of cord hanging out after it is wrapped.

My last comment is the case. This is my reasoning for 4 stars. The toothbrush shipped with a hard plastic case. Although the brush may be protected, it is not the nice soft case the brush came with in the past that replaced the hard plastic case. Why the regression?

Philips Sonicare E-Series Replacement Brush HeadClick see image product : FREE Super Saver Shipping

I had an original Sonicare for 7 years. Recently replaced it. The reason I bought an elite model was because it has the compact head option. I do love the compact head design. It’s small enough to reach all the way back behind the last wisdom tooth. I used to use a dental pick to make sure I got all the plaque off. Now the small head brushes well enough that I no longer use the pick.

I love my Sonicare toothbrush and bought these replacement heads to go with it. They do an excellent job but really only last about 3 months, based on my experience using them twice a day for probably 1.5 minutes per use on average. That works out to about $40 a year for brush heads which is somewhat steep, hence the 4 star review.

This is an excellent investment in oral hygiene. I only had this for a couple of days and makes the pants of my old Sonicare Elite for almost 5 years. New FlexCare is the way to go in my opinion. The look and feel of the brush is very high tech and clean. By comparing the model with the Elite FlexCare and I noticed a lot of improvements. The first is the brushes ProCare that come with this brush. I am a little ‘safer (theI) that brushes Original I bought for my elites. They also a blue stripe on them that decreases over time to signal when to replace toothbrush. There feels just like my teeth feel cleaner than when I elite. Addition, five cleaning mode, is possible from choose reverence my elite. The Quadpacer characteristic is quite nice. It essentially a beep small short any 30 seconds to alert when brush from quadrant should changeteeth to another. And the last thing that leapt out at me was the UV sanitizer built in to the charger. After 5 years with one model, I was growing paranoid about the cleanliness even though you change up brush heads. Some added accessories come in very handy if you travel a lot. A miniature travel case with an extra brush head and a miniature charger come with this purchase. I highly recommend this item to anybody.

I have owned two previous generations of Sonicares to this – a first generation model back to base, and an elite 5500 which has been tilted more natural tree and got rid of the uncomfortable plastic tab behind the brush of the first generation (? ). Neither of them died on me, it lasted years.

From the series and the R series (710), seem to be the most important updates:

-Cheaper, better, simpler and smaller brushes replacement. No more complicated lives affairs, and brushes just get pushed on a vibrantBolt for lack of a better term. There are places much less disgusting gunk to build and easier cleaning. Take much less time to change the heads, if you have to share them (or if the kids have). I am a little ‘less to replace, it seems as natural as far less complicated design.

Base-charger is smaller, the same design as the bolt head.

-Setting for whitening teeth. Wilder button at the bottom.

-Sleeker, smaller, more comfortable body.

I just moved from the E seriesbecause I originally bought as a 2-for-1 special with a member of the family that eventually went away and only came with a charger base. An extra (replacement) would cost almost $ 45 + shipping with a replacement brush head for at least $ 13, could also buy a new set at that point.

If you have a Sonicare, it’s probably cheaper to stay with you until you die as none of the revolutionary features. Yet, probably as the redesign and subsequent headCleaning / lack-of-gunk the best.

I was very happy Oral-B (Braun) for the user over the past 4 years. During this period I had two of its high-end brush. I’ve never been a bad mouth Sonicare because it is a good brush, but I preferred the smaller size of the Oral-B, together with the pop-off heads. Now, however, has changed with the new Sonicare this model, the FlexCare.

I bought this model because of a dentist who is the new FlexCare not only a new species has been recommended to the saidBrush, but it actually has a much better brush technique. So I bought the brush and went online to prove it. Wow.

After using the FlexCare, it still seems possible to compare with my old Oral-B (which only a year old.) This brush actually seems 20 years more advanced, and is not an exaggeration. It has some ‘high tone, so do not bother me, but the real story is in motion. The brush seems exponentially better with 80% lessVibration, to operate a dream. I actually get sad after it auto-off after brushing, I wish you did something wrong. Moreover, and perhaps most importantly, it feels as if the teeth better than my Oral-B cleans. After using the FlexCare for a while ‘, I returned to my old Oral-B, just to compare … Once again, I could not believe that liked it so much it feels like and sounded like an antique in comparison.

Different ways of brushes FlexCareare OK, but a small problem with all the options. One thing I’d like to be able to “program” the method of staining to 3 minutes each time, the default is clean (this mode is the action of brushing and massage.) However, if the brush in the charging station located to automatically clean up to 2 minutes. Programming mode you brush, if you pick up is not difficult, but it’s really annoying. Sonicare:To resolve this problem in later models.

This brush comes with two chargers, one for home (with disinfectant) and a trip to cover (without disinfectant.) Even with a head and a travel bag on the stick in these accessories travel with my brush as much fun . I never understood why the electric toothbrush manufacturers are more than accessories.

Pop-off heads (compared to Sonicare lives old heads) are fantastic and verybetter than the Oral-B pop-off ones. In my Oral-B I had to remove the brush head to wash the dirt after brushing, but because the Sonicare toothbrush heads are longer, very, very dirty litle gets you. It ‘was a pleasant surprise. Remove though, and the brush head in the FlexCare tube needs more power, I do not like.

The UV sanitizer is a great gadget, but who knows how useful it really? In fact, some dangers may even lie in the long-term immuneKill all the bacteria / virus to the eye, as with an antibacterial soap, but this is not the forum for this. I used the UV sanitizer a few times, but I do not use it all the more because of what I think is a very real problem with all the products available in those days, anti-bacterial. Although, on the basis of the few times I made use of it, I could see it was in use on a daily basis would be cumbersome. When you brush your teeth twice a day, too much of a hassle to remove the headeach time, and put it in disinfectant. The head is aligned perfectly with the disinfectant and closed the door and began gently. If you have big hands, placed at the head of the brush in disinfectant is more complicated, especially when you brush with the big head (FYI:. Including The heads are available in two sizes, large and small, and each packet)

It ‘nice to see that Sonic is finally nickel-cadmium, and went to Li-ion battery, which took so long? This change means that the brush is now managed as a single battery charge, and develop no memory of leaving it in the cradle. It ‘also the reason why the handle of the brush is now smaller, making it more manageable.

As much as I love this brush, I realize that the price for Sonicare has marketed is very high. If I were to buy it again, I would save € 20 and have one without the UV sanitizer. In addition to high prices and a little ‘demands in the ways of the brushes, theWe can not be more pleased with this brush. Oral-B has to go a long way to achieve this Sonicare model.

My husband and I were in agreement with the white to greet a little ‘more than a week and we are both the best we had to brush your teeth at home.

Our new dentist and dental hygienist Sonicare recommended for both, because both have receding gums and sensitivity. Instead of just the right Sonicare and buy the first thing we saw on the platform, we decided to study the options available.

The other big players in the game is B. There are several electric toothbrush oralothers, the criticism, but they were hard to find what the final decision on the Sonicare or Oral B. was given that electric toothbrushes are made on the expensive side (for us anyway), I insisted on doing research.

My research includes: visit the websites of the Sonicare and Oral-B and reading about the different models, online reviews, including Amazon, for each of the various models and a long discussion with our dental hygienist.

Business websiteswere useful for general information. For me, however, were Amazon and other online surveys, much more useful for the detection of electrical problems / successes both Sonicare and Oral B toothbrushes

In fact, I have tried all reviews for Sonicare and Oral-B models. After reading the reviews of low cost (and apparently more? Sonicare models), as Essence, I decided not to buy one of these models. The main reason: The design of this brush seemsallows water / toothpaste in the handle of the brush filter so that the shape is formed.

Sonicare FlexCare with healthy white and solved this problem, but I was very skeptical about spending almost $ 100 (or more) for a toothbrush.

Oral B does not seem to suffer from the deficiency in the design of the cheapest of the Sonicare models, and I was ready to go with the cheaper models, Oral B, I spoke with the dental hygienist.

AfterConversation, I concluded that even if I bought an Oral-B dental my needs, even a Sonicare for my husband, whose needs exceed buy a little ‘.

For us, it makes sense to buy a handle with a brush and just buy a new brush head.

Although I had read the difference between your teeth sonic technology (used Sonicare) and oscillating / rotating technology (used for oral B), made no sense to me until my conversation with theHygienists.

Just like I said basically as follows (Sorry if this is a bit graphic):

Audio technology mix the toothpaste with his own saliva. The “sound” technology not only reaches the surface of the teeth, but in space there is no mechanism can also be traditional paintbrush in and around the gums to get.

The Oral-B seem to use the more “traditional” art brushes clean the area and only the bristlesArea.

This changed my mind, especially taking into account the dental needs of my husband. At the time it made sense to buy a new Sonicare models.

The first time I expect that Sonicare is very strong based on the reviews I read. In my opinion, is quieter than my hair dryer has the noise does not bother me. It took the two a few days to get used to the feeling of brush on the teeth.

Quadpacer technology is useful, as well as the timing mechanism, that allSonicare toothbrushes have, but not very important in my case, I’d rather see more “clean and white” cycle, and sometimes is not long enough for me.

Some criticize the auto power off, but the easiest solution is to brush again. You can always turn off when they want to go for another 2 minutes.

I was a bit ‘surprised that the charger is so light and the handle of the brush does not really fits your charger and the charger maybe easily torn. The charger has space for two additional heads to save.

I have no problem with this mood brush when I brush my teeth. I must be careful to keep my mouth when I brush and remember not to open the brush in his mouth.

In general, if we are also very pleased with our Sonicare satisfied, and we really hope leads to better dental visits. If so, then it’s worth, despite the higherPrice tag. My problem with the function and the charger is not worth the benefits of this weed.

I would recommend this brush, but before it is first recommended to consult your dentist / dental hygienist and do your own research. Dental needs of every person is unique and this brush (or Sonic) can not be the right fit for everyone.

Even for those of you who bought a Sonicare Sonicare if the brush (or online with the card is inPackage), the company sent coupons for other products. Not registered our brushes, so I do not know how well it works or what type of coupons sent Sonicare.
